In order to provide involved parties with access to the dailies datalab interfaced with the PIX system. PIX allows secure and structured access to media content over the internet. PIX allows instant collaboration regardless of the location of the participants.
We were able to exchange all stored metadata from the datalab database with the PIX system automatically. This is especially remarkable since both systems had been designed before it was clear that the other one was on the show.
